Here at ELI we recognize each child is unique. Our approach uses your child’s distinctiveness to tailor individual goals and allow all children to grow to their fullest potential.
How Do We Do It?
Each student receives an individual comprehensive plan, including Academic, Life Skills, Community Based Instructions (CBI), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Your child will not be overwhelmed, with a staff to student ratio as low as 1:1 and up to 1:10, depending on student’s needs. Each child is assigned a minimum of one RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) and one teacher.
Our mission at Exceptional Learning Institute (ELI) is to prepare all students to grow to their fullest potential, by becoming self-reliant, productive individuals.
We will do this by:
- Developing a sense of responsibility for themselves and respect for others
- Teaching students academics at their cognitive level as well as promoting day-to-day life skills and vocational preparation
- Meeting each students where they need us, whether it be in the classroom or one-on-one tutoring in the home or in the community.
- Accommodating instruction to meet the needs of the students
- Working hand-in-hand with the Behavioral Foundation Center
- Recognizing every student has unique individual needs that are continually changing
- Providing a program that meets the academic, physical, social, behavioral and emotional needs of every student so that each student has equal opportunities to succeed
- Knowing all students can learn
